Scope
This Data Protection Policy applies to all services provided by DZ GROUP SRL and, more generally, to all activities it carries out.
Data Controller and Commitments

Client Data
In the context of our services and activities, we collect and process identity and contact data of our clients and principals, their staff, employees, agents, and any other useful contacts. The purposes of processing are the execution of our agreements, client management, and accounting. The legal bases are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and/or our legitimate interest.
Supplier and Subcontractor Data
We collect and process identity and contact data of our service providers (suppliers and subcontractors), including their (sub)subcontractors, personnel, collaborators, agents, and other relevant contacts. The purposes are contract execution, supplier/subcontractor management, and accounting. The legal bases are contract execution, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and/or our legitimate interest.
Employee Data
We process the personal data of our employees for personnel and payroll management purposes. Due to its specific nature, this processing is more thoroughly covered in the internal Work Regulations and the Employee Data Management Policy.
Other Data
We also process personal data of other individuals, such as new clients/prospects, useful contacts in our industry, etc. The purpose is business development, direct marketing, and public relations. The legal basis is our legitimate interest or, in some cases, contract execution.
Duration of Processing
Personal data is retained and processed by DZ GROUP SRL for a period necessary depending on the purposes of the processing and the nature of the relationship (contractual or otherwise).
Client and supplier data will, in any case, be retained as long as necessary for management purposes or as long as required by specific legislation or in the case of ongoing disputes where personal data is needed.
Your Rights
In accordance with and under the conditions set by Belgian data protection legislation and the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: You have the right to access your data held by DZ GROUP SRL and to check how it is being used, free of charge.
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to erasure or restriction: You can request deletion or restriction of processing under conditions defined by GDPR. DZ GROUP SRL may refuse deletion or restriction if the data is necessary for legal compliance, contract execution, or our legitimate interest.
- Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller.
- Right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. However, you cannot object to processing necessary for legal obligations, contract execution, or our legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent: If processing is based on prior consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time. The data will then only be processed if another legal basis applies.
- Automated decisions and profiling: DZ GROUP SRL confirms that it does not use automated decision-making or profiling in its data processing.

Data Transfers to Third Parties
Some personal data collected by DZ GROUP SRL may be transferred to and processed by third parties, such as our IT provider, accountant, or auditor.
Currently, these third parties are not located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If this changes, data will only be transferred to third countries with adequate levels of protection.
Employees, managers, and/or representatives of the above-mentioned service providers are bound by confidentiality and may only use your data for the purposes for which it was provided.
